DropJaw Ventures Advises on Formation of Digital Connect Group as Connectus Business Solutions Invests in Glu Digital
DropJaw Ventures Group, the advisory and investment vehicle founded by Roy Shelton, today confirmed its role as strategic catalyst and adviser behind the formation of Digital Connect Group, a newly launched technology services group bringing together Connectus Business Solutions, Glu Digital, and Colander Technology Ltd under a single growth platform.
The transaction saw Connectus Business Solutions, the North West and Yorkshire-based managed IT and technology services provider, make a strategic investment in Fareham-based Glu Digital, a specialist in professional services, customer experience, lifecycle management and channel engagement. As part of the deal, Glu Digital also acquired Colander Technology Ltd, a specialist wireless surveying and consultancy business, further strengthening the group’s technical depth in networking and infrastructure services.
DropJaw Ventures worked alongside the leadership teams of both organisations to shape the strategic rationale for the combination, identify the operational and cultural fit between the businesses, and structure a platform designed to preserve what has made each business successful while unlocking shared scale, delivery capability and channel reach.
Operating under the new Digital Connect Group structure, the combined businesses will support partners across the full technology lifecycle , from consultancy, design and deployment through to optimisation, managed services and ongoing customer success, all while Glu Digital retains its established channel-only model.
